Control and Instrumentation (C&I)

Zithembile Engineering (Pty) Ltd provides complete Control and Instrumentation (C&I) services for plants that rely on process automation, system monitoring and precision control. Our C&I division supports both new installations and upgrade projects, with a focus on compliance, system accuracy and uptime.

We work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), SCADA systems, field instrumentation and control panels. Our services are suited for power plants, manufacturing lines and process-based industries that cannot afford system failure or uncalibrated equipment. All C&I work is performed by qualified technicians with experience in power generation and industrial control environments.

What We Offer

  • C&I panel design and assembly: we design, wire and test custom-built control panels for motor control centres, instrumentation enclosures and process control systems.
  • PLC programming and SCADA integration: programming, commissioning and interface setup between PLCs and SCADA platforms for real-time monitoring and remote control.
  • Loop checks and instrument calibration: we test, verify and calibrate instrumentation loops for pressure, flow, temperature and level control.
  • System retrofits and upgrades: we replace outdated panels, reconfigure wiring and migrate older systems to modern automation platforms.
  • Emergency support and maintenance: rapid-response troubleshooting and repair of failed instruments, control circuits and panels during site outages or emergencies.
